But there are times when you may lose access to this folder and not retrieve the necessary. If you get the message “Recycle bin on (drive) is corrupted” when you attempt to restore a file from the Recycle Bin, it’s best to just delete the affected folder. Usually, the Recycle Bin icon is found on the Desktop by default. The deleted files are temporarily stored in these folders until the Recycle Bin is emptied. To the user, the Recycle Bin icon looks like a single recycle bin, but Windows actually uses a separate hidden folder on each drive.
